I'm María, a Colombian illustrator who loves bringing children's stories to life through illustrations and products.

I grew up in Bogotá, where the city’s landscapes and vibrant characters always found their way into my sketches.

In 2012, I packed my bags for San Francisco and since then, I've been working as a freelance illustrator, collaborating with awesome clients like Starbucks, Twitter, Wikimedia Foundation, and some incredible non-profits, and work with Just Imagine co, and independent soft book publishing house based in Colombia.

I’m the proud founder [and illustrator] of Twibbles, a gender-neutral kids' apparel brand that sparks creativity, fosters imagination and  independent play through our designs.
